Texas pta Rally Day - February 27th

​​We want you to join us in Austin as we advocate for our students!
Advocacy is at the heart of PTA. On Rally Day, PTA members from across the state meet in Austin to meet with legislators to raise our voices on behalf of our students. On this day, we:
  • Meet with legislators and staff to share Texas PTA’s Legislative Agenda
  • Participate in a rally on the Capitol steps, raising awareness about the needs of public schools and children
  • Hear from political leaders and bill sponsors
  • Join others to advocate on behalf of Texas children and youth 
  • Learn more about issues affecting Texas children

Frisco Council of PTAs is traveling to Austin for Rally Day, and we want you with us! We will have buses to take interested parents (and high school students) down to Austin on the day of the event. It is a long day (we leave at 4:30am and return in the evening), but is an important day filled with information and advocacy. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
