GOALS

Make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering
families and communities to advocate for all children.
With our mission in mind, Frisco ISD Council of PTAs focuses on the following goals:
  • Build relationships with our local PTAs by empowering, training, coaching, and assisting them to strengthen their effectiveness within their school families, ensuring that they remain active, thriving, and engaged units.
  • Promote and increase PTA membership in our Council by at least 5% by communicating the value of membership for advocacy and family engagement, by emphasizing the tangible benefits for all members, and by using Back the Future and district events to increase CommYOUnity awareness as a tool to increase membership.
  • Communicate the purpose and mission of Frisco ISD Council of PTAs to all stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Educate, empower, and engage all Frisco ISD families and community members by providing relevant programs and opportunities to meet the needs of families and students, while emphasizing to our stakeholders the value of PTA.
  • Advocate to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of the students of Frisco ISD.
  • Use LEAD Academy to identify and encourage leadership within the district PTAs by building a curriculum to support the growth of district PTA leaders.
