​OUR MISSION

Our mission is to ensure Frisco ISD students in need have access to clothing so they can feel confident, comfortable, and dressed for success.

CLOTHING NEEDS

To support our student needs, we request the following clothing donations (size Youth 3T to Adult XXL*):
    * Greatest need: Teen clothing in men's sizes

  • Shirts (long and short sleeve), sweaters, and hoodies
  • Pants, shorts, and skirts
  • Dresses
  • Coats, jackets, and winter gloves
  • Pajamas​​
    NEW ITEMS
  • ​New athletic shoes or sneakers
  • New socks
  • New undergarments​​​

DONATE CLOTHING
MONDAYS and THURSDAYS, 9am-12pm ONLY
To donate clothing, visit the Frisco Threads facility at Acker Special Programs Center. 

​Note: We are closed when school is not in session (holidays, teacher workdays, weather closures, etc.).  One Thursday each month, our donation time is 12:00p-4:00p.  Refer to the donation calendar for specific donation dates/times.

​** Please do not leave donations outside the building at any time. **
DONATE MONEY
Monetary donations are used to purchase new socks, new undergarments, new athletic shoes, and other high need clothing items. To donate, please click our CheddarUp donation button above.

VOLUNTEER
We have weekly volunteer opportunities on Mondays and Thursdays.

  • Monday Workdays: Tasks include tidying up the shopping rooms, sorting donations and restocking inventory.
  • Thursday Shopping Days: Tasks include assisting families with shopping and restocking as needed. 
(We have a need for Spanish speaking volunteers on Thursdays.)​

DONATION PICK-UP PARTNERSHIP

We are excited to announce a partnership with Wear It Forward, a student lead organization at Liberty High School Redhawks offering to pick up clothing donations and deliver them to Frisco Threads. If you have clothes to donate but can't make our donation hours, sign up HERE to arrange a pickup. We are so proud of these amazing students for their leadership and for making a difference in their community!
