The Scavenger Hunt for Advocacy - It’s back!!!
A family fun event for all that will have you on a mad dash about town! During the hunt, teams will solve clues that lead them to locations around Frisco. Along the way, they will gather points towards earning prizes. They also make fun memories and help earn cash for their schools!

Registration

Each team must complete a registration form and pay a fee to register for the hunt. The fee covers all members on the team.

• Early Bird (Jan 1-15): $20
• Regular (Jan 16-Feb 11): $25
• Late(Feb 12-16): $30

​20% of each entry fee goes to the school associated with the team. The rest helps fund scholarships for Frisco ISD seniors!
Registered participants receive access to the Hunt Facebook page, where they will receive more information to help them prepare.

REGISTER FOR THE HUNT

the Rules

GENERAL​

• The hunt will be done in person, unless it is prevented due to inclement weather or unforeseen pandemic restrictions. The Hunt may also be completed from home (virtually).​
• Clues in the hunt will be available at 10am, Monday, Feb. 21. Paper copies will be provided to teams at kickoff and they will also will also be emailed to teams and posted on the HUNT Facebook page.
• All registered participants will have access to the Hunt's private Facebook page.
• Answers must be submitted by 4pm on the day of the Hunt. No late entries will be accepted.
• By posting a photo to the Facebook page, the user gives the PTA, at all levels, permission to reuse the photo in future marketing events.​

TEAMS

• Any family/team/staff can participate if they register and pay the entrance fee.
• Teams can have up to 6 people (family, staff, and/or students).
• Teams must have at least one PTA member.
• Teams must have one player who is 17 or older.

HUNT DAY SCHEDULE

• HUNT KICKOFF (February 21, 2022, 9am)
  • Arrive at Credit Union of Texas (Legacy and El Dorado) between 9-10am.
  • Pick up your SWAG bag (goodies) and maybe win a kickoff prize!
  • Receive the clues promptly at 10am, then head off on the Hunt!​
• THROUGHOUT THE HUNT DAY
  • Review the clues and solve them to add points to your score. (Add the answers to your clue sheet.)
  • Visit the five (5) point locations to add points!
  • Visit the point locations during a character time to add points!
  • Find creative ways to show your answers to add points!
  • Once all clues are answered, turn them in to the Hunt Wrap-up location for scoring.  
    
• ​HUNT WRAP-UP (February 21, 2022, 4pm)
  
  • ​Arrive at El Rincon (2809 Preston Road) between 12-4pm to turn in clue sheets.
    ALL CLUE SHEETS MUST BE RETURNED NO LATER THAN 4PM. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    
  • Stick around to learn the identity of our Clue Crew!
  • Win one of our remaining spot prizes!
• AFTER THE HUNT 
  • Points will be tallied and the grand prize winners will be announced.

POINTS​

• 2 pts: Each PTA Member
• 1 pt: Easy clue answer
• 2 pts: Medium clue answer
• 3 pts: Difficult clue answer​

• 1 pt: Each location visit
• 1 pt: Each character sighting​

• Additional points are awarded to schools for promoting the Hunt to your school community (send photos of each promotion to [email protected]).
• Creativity points are awarded for photos/answers that are deemed unique and creative by the judges.

Prizes

SCHOOL PRIZES​

• Most teams by January 16th, 2022
• Most teams by February 16th, 2022
• Most combined team points

TEAM PRIZES​

• Swag bag for each team (given at kick off)
• Spot prizes throughout event (finders keepers!)
• Most creative (awarded by judges)
• GRAND PRIZE - First team to submit a complete, correct list of answers
• GRAND PRIZE - ​Team with most points (including stamps/creativity)

Grand Prizes will not be awarded on the day of the HUNT.
After points are tallied, the winning teams will be announced on the HUNT Facebook page.
